PROJECT STUDIO
With graphite as his chosen medium, Zarza creates realistic drawings that embody precision, patience, and experimentation. His practice is guided equally by technical mastery and a playful openness to discovery.
WELCOME!
Self-taught artist from the Philippines, He creates graphite drawings that reflect depths of identity, solitude, and connection. His surreal drawings often weave animals and hands as symbols of emotion and unspoken experience.
Rhino in the Figure- Pencil on paper (2025)
In the stillness of the figure, the rhino stands alone, yet not abandoned. The drawing whispers that solitude can be a sanctuary and sweetness a gift that lingers long after the moment has passed.
Signed originals— moments of solitude, drawn to be remembered and shared intention.

Blossom- Pencil on Paper (2022)
This self portrait was the first artwork He created using his own studio reference. Inspired by hummingbirds and flowers, it reflects a dialogue with silence and growth. Nearly two months in the making, Blossom marks a turning point in his practice—where personal reference, patience, and introspection came together in paper.
Foundation
Dedicated to process, He shares professional insights into composition and inspiration, drawing from the crucial behind-the-scenes elements of lighting, shading, and reference preparation.
Film
Blending his love for film wih drawing, Zarza offers insight into the process and studio moments behind each piece. His graphite practice captures both the precision of detail and the spontaneity of play. Through sketches and work-in-progress, he invites others into the evolving journey of his art.
